John Guerrasio is a New York theatre veteran who also works extensively with America’s leading regional and summer stock theatres. In Britain, he has performed in CONVERSATIONS WITH MY FATHER (Old Vic), ARSENIC AND OLD LACE (West End), PAL JOEY and THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER (Chichester Festival), AUNT DAN AND LEMON (Almeida), THE PRICE (Bolton), THE TAMING OF THE SHREW (Nottingham) and ANYTHING GOES and SOUTH PACIFIC (Grange Park Opera). John wrote and presented the travel series A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO EUROPE (Travel Channel) and IN SEARCH OF TUSCANY (PBS) and he hosted the popular film program SPROCKETS. Other television work includes AS TIME GOES BY, BRASS EYE, CAMBRIDGE SPIES and HOOVER DAM among many others. His film credits include the Merchant-Ivory production JANE AUSTEN IN MANHATTAN and the low budget “classics” PROJECT SHADOWCHASER and SIAMESE COP. He has voiced countless insects, animals and aliens for cartoons and computer games. And, his many BBC radio credits include INSIGNIFICANCE, LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, DEATH OF A SALESMAN,AN EVENING WITH JOHNNY STOMPANATO and THE ENORMOUS RADIO.John Guerrasio recently appeared(Sept 2008) in 'SMALL CRAFT WARNINGS'by Tennessee Williams at the Arcola Theatre, Dalston.
