Coronavirus and working from home - March 2020

Due to the Coronavirus I have temporarily closed my studio at Wood Green Works and am now working from a small studio I have created in a spare room at home.

My home studio is much smaller and so I have less space to move around and store things but the light is good,it’s quiet and I feel lucky and blessed to have my health and the space to paint.

I am no longer able to teach of course from such a small space and so I have unfortunately had to temporarily cancel my portrait painting classes but my group regularly keeps in touch via ‘Whats App’ with new paintings in progress and requests for advice!

It does feel strange working in my home environment,it was easy to leave and go to work.I now have to be quite disciplined about working times as it is so easy to become distracted by other things going on at home.

I’m looking to forward to being able to re-establish my Wood Green studio when all this is over but until then I will be  regularly posting updates on Instagram,Twitter and Facebook - hope to see you there.
